This is another version of the video. The video quality is better. The music quality is lower than the first version since the song was converted to digital from cassette tape played on a cheap Walkman bought just days ago.

Ssu-ma Chien, writer of our most important historical text 史記, has not given up his writing plan even after his humiliating punishment by
the so-called greatest emperor of the Han dynasty. In those days,
imagine writing probably on bamboo or cloth — vertically, never horizontally like English — under flickering lighting by fire,
with body pain probably unbearable to many people even nowadays ....
The best editon of 史記 today is in ten volumes, printed in vertical text direction. Hurray! There is also a very
good 8-volume edition with rendition into modern Chinese, published in Taiwan in 2008.
